Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary issues with software.

Run System File Checker (SFC)

  1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.

    Check Windows Services

  4. Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
  5. Type services.msc and press Enter.
  6. Look for RPC Endpoint Mapper service and make sure it's running. To start the service, right-click on it and select Start.

    Check for Malware

Scan your system for malware using Windows Defender or a third-party antivirus software to ensure that the issue is not caused by malicious software.

    Check Windows Update

Make sure your Windows is up to date. Sometimes, outdated software can lead to compatibility issues. Update your system through Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

    Perform a System Restore

If the issue started recently, you can try to restore your system to a point before the problem occurred.
  7. Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
  8. Type rstrui.exe and press Enter to open the System Restore wizard.

    Reinstall or Update Software

If specific applications are causing the issue, you can try reinstalling them or checking for updates on the software developers' websites. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please provide more details about your system, such as the version of Windows you are using, any recent changes you made to your system, or any updates that were installed before the issue started. This additional information can help in providing more tailored assistance.
