Windows 7 Troubleshooting AppHang81 Error on IE10 in Windows 7: Causes and Solutions

i'm getting a frozen window on IE10 (Windows 7 64-bit) with error, AppHang81, on certain webpages. any idea why this started happening?

What comes to mind for me is a possible problem with some add-ons or accelerators. I suppose it could also be acceptance of cookies or popups. Can you try to disable selected ones to see if the problem stops.

I was on a page yesterday that wanted to install a cookie and the default settings would not allow it to do so. I altered those settings for testing and the process was completed.

Are you running the x64 version of IE?

Have you tried the version with no add-ons you should be able to access from the Start Menu?
