Clicking on Outlook this a.m., my coputer attempted to install Outlook 2007 Ultimate. However, in the installation process, I get the following error message:
Error 1310 Error writing to file IPDMCTRLL.DLL. Verify that you have access to that directory.
I also get this same message using any of the programs in MS Office.
I am using Windows7RC. x64 Please help.

1310 file error while installing office 2003 on Windows 7
Hi, I'm getting the same 1310 error make sure you have access to a directory error while trying to install Office 2003 on Windows 7. I tried running the setup.exe as admin, running it in XP compatibility mode, still get that error about 25% through the installation.
Also, I tried to installed Acrobat 8 Pro, with a very similar error about half way through.
Any idea?
