Windows 7 Troubleshooting Timeout Error When Importing Photos from HP318 Camera on Windows 7

pluged the camera in and all went ok till got a time out error
finds camera even shows HP318 picture inport times out
any thoughts?

HP318 camera usb conection

64bit Win7 rc and dual boot 32bit XP-PRO_SP3

it works if I reboot into XP

What program are you using to get your photos?
It might be the reader that is bugging out. You could look for some drivers.

I use Picassa and it works wonderfully.
