Hello,

I am using the Windows Home Server to put all my photo's and with the Media Center I can access them, I can play slideshows etc.... but what doesn't work is the rotate function, I always get a mesage saying that mediacenter is unable to save settings to the file. Although I am sure to have full access to the photo map and underlying submaps, I also have full access to the photofiles themselfs. In Vista media center this never caused any problem but with Windows 7 mediacenter I can't get it done to rotate any picture.

Anyone a solution or a path to follow to resolve the problem?

Greetings,

Nic

Disable UAC (User Account Control): - Sometimes, User Account Control can interfere with certain functionalities. You can try temporarily disabling UAC to see if it resolves the issue. - To disable UAC, go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control settings and set the slider to the lowest level. 4. Alternative Photo Viewer: - If the issue persists, you can try using an alternative photo viewer or editor to rotate your photos. Software like Windows Photo Viewer or third-party applications can be used for this purpose. 5. Update Windows and Media Center: - Make sure that your Windows 7 system and Windows Media Center are up to date with the latest updates and patches. Sometimes, updates can resolve such issues. By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the problem with the rotation function in Windows Media Center. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance. Best regards,
