HI.
I upgraded my memory recently and Windows Boots up. But, volume keys on my keyboard are not working. There is no Network icon as it used to be at the bottom right.

When I go to network settings this shows up...
What to do? I have upgraded all my drivers but ALAS!
I have troubleshooted but it shows that the troubleshooter couldn't identify the problem.

It seems like the screenshot you've attached highlights issues with your network adapter where the status states "Not present". This could be a driver-related issue that's causing your volume keys and network icon to malfunction as well. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:

Network Adapter Issue:

  1. Check Device Manager:
    • Open Device Manager and check under "Network Adapters" to see if your network adapter is listed. If it has an exclamation mark or a red X, there might be a driver issue.
    []Reinstall Network Adapter Driver:

    ]Reinstall Audio Driver:
    • You can try uninstalling the sound driver, restarting your system, and letting Windows automatically reinstall the driver on startup.

      General Troubleshooting:

    []Windows Update:
    • Make sure your system is up-to-date with the latest Windows updates. Sometimes, updates can fix driver-related issues.
    [
    ]System Restore:
    • If the issues occurred right after the memory upgrade, a System Restore to a point before the upgrade might resolve the problems.
  2. Hardware Check:
    • Ensure all components are properly connected, especially after a memory upgrade. Loose connections could lead to malfunctions.

      Contacting Support:

If the issues persist after trying these steps, consider reaching out to your device manufacturer or Microsoft Support for further assistance.
Try these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issues with your network adapter, volume keys, and missing network icon.
