      • Delete the old user profile if not needed.
    []Check for Malware or Viruses:
    • Perform a full system scan to check for any malware or viruses that could be causing login issues.
    [
    ]Check Event Viewer Logs:
    • Check the Event Viewer logs for any error messages related to the login issue. This can provide more insight into the root cause.
    []Update Windows and Drivers:
    • Ensure that Windows 7 is up to date with the latest updates and drivers. Outdated software can sometimes cause login problems.
    [
]Perform System File Checker (SFC) Scan:
    • Run an SFC scan to check for and repair any corrupted system files that may be impacting user logins.
  2. Consider Upgrading Windows:
    • Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft. Consider upgrading to a newer version of Windows for better security and support.

      Additional Considerations:

      • Remote Assistance Tools: Make sure you have reliable remote assistance tools to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
      • Backup Important Data: Encourage your friend to regularly back up her important files and data to prevent data loss in case of system issues.
