Windows 10 Video lecture with photo and audio inserts

I have been invited to create a video music history lecture discussing several composers - the video made via my Windows 10 Camera app. Problem #1: how to momentarily replace my video image with a photo each time a composer being discussed (but with the lecture audio still sounding). Problem #2: how to also add a 2-minute audio excerpt after each composer section (music by that composer, preferably transferred directly from a Windows Media Player playlist). I have the lecture video (including 2-minute silences to accommodate the audio excerpt)s, I have the photo files, and I have the audio files - but I can't seem to combine them, despite following several online sources.

I would be infinitely grateful if someone could walk me through this two-part editing process - IF it can in fact be done via the apps already included in the Windows 10 package.
