Windows Vista Vista will not remember window positions

Has anyone had luck with this?

In "folder options" I have selected "remember positions", but each time I open windows explorer, it uses the default position and setup.

I have tried the ctrl-Close, no good.

Same here...I find it very frustrating.
But I am going to keep searching for a fix and will post if I find.
