Windows 7 Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 update

I have been receiving and installing updates to my Windows 7 computer for about a year now. So far there have been no problems. About mid year of 2011 I installed SQL Server 2005 Express. Not certain the problem I am having began then or later, like about November 2011.

The problem is that Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1 update will not install (file size 431.7MB), any ideas why? Does not appear to effect anything else as my computer appears to be running fine.

It may e something to with permissions. Are you getting an error code or message?
