I just created a new rig with a Athlon black 2.8 cpu, gigabyte MoBo 4gb of corsair ram.
The hard disk I'm using is a Maxtor SATA. I believe it has the S.M.A.R.t tech built in.
win7 keeps giving me a message that the Hard disk is going to fail. I ran a disk checked and it seemed fine. it did have one bad cluster though. this is the first SATA drive I have ever owned so I really have bull knowledge of the paticualars.
Can any one point me to a way of fixing this. I'm not afraid to loose data because I just installed windows and have no personal files on the disk, but I would like to avoid having to buy a new harddrive.
