Windows 7 Professional How do you find files containing certain words? I can't believe MS would downgrade the search function, but I can't find it anywhere.:(

Solution
Welcome to the forums, StanH.

To find files containing certain words, open up a folder where you would like to search => search box on top right => type your text, the more you type the more accurately it'll search => depending on how much you've typed in, it'll show you 1 or more files.

I have just tried it, it works. Again, the more you type in the search box, the better it searches.

Solution
If I understand it correctly the file has to be indexed and indexing only applies to certain file extensions.
