What's your Cinebench Score?

Just figured I'd start a little benchmarking comparison thread, see how our PCs stand up against one another.
If you want to get in on the comparison, please include the following if possible;

- A screen shot of your Cinebench r10 Scores
- Which version (64 bit or 32 bit) of the program you ran
- Processor name/speed (Example: Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.7 GHz)
- Graphics Card name/speed (Example: Radeon HD4670 512MB @ 778/1110)
- Amount of RAM/speed of RAM (Example: 4GB PC2-6400)
- Operating System (Including whether it's 32 or 64 bit & Service packs or Build #)

If you need to download Cinebench, the fastest links are below:

Did a run with my laptop yesterday I think. Figure it's worth a put up.
Not too bad for a 3 year old Gateway. lol

Hi There,

I am kinda new here but here is my result:

Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9000 @ 2.00GHz
MHz : 2.00
Number of CPUs : 4
Operating System : WINDOWS 64 BIT 6.1.7100
Graphics Card : GeForce 9700M GT/PCI/SSE2
Resolution : 1920x1080
Color Depth : 32-bit
****************************************************
Rendering (Single CPU): 2626 CB-CPU
Rendering (Multiple CPU): 2992 CB-CPU
Multiprocessor Speedup: 1.14
Shading (OpenGL Standard) : 4780 CB-GFX

the scores are lower because its only a laptop.
But for that (and under windows 7 ) quite good.:)

Zimmela1, you need to post a screenshot as well, please.
Added both of you, pending screenshot for Zimmela1

Hi There,

Now after re-running this program, and updated my cpu/mainboard drivers
it got me a new result:) but this was tested in Win 7 RC1, so I am not sure what results could I get in Windows Vista.

Kyle - If you have a problem with this benchmark thread, keep it to yourself or don't reply.

Well ....I have to admit I thought the same previously...

but ...There are people who use the test just to "show the world how fast is their comp...

I just want to compare my Laptop, just because of curiousity...

And of course, I am happy because I could buy it on my own money...:)

truthfully, I think this type of test is a joke.

Sure people who bye high-end components get High scores.

So , what is this about, just a pissing match to see the highest rating.:rolleyes:Mines better than your is....HAHAHA

Very similar to car shows that I go to, Someone pumps $100,000 into the motor, all the best speed equipment, every possible piece chromed and who do you think the winner is.

yeah, the rich guy where expense is not a problem.

Here are my specs from a $399,99 E-machine, piss poor as they are.

This guy got some mean spec I guess ;)

This type of test is very useful as a benchmark tool and not just for a pissing contest. For example if I wanted to find out if I slightly overclock my cpu would I get more performance that comes with the heat, and is it worth that extra bump in voltage, or does this CPU:RAM ratio give more performance. Basically I have spent this much on my components and I want the best out of them. Posting them, along with your specs help people with similar machines compare components and whether its worth the upgrade.

Anyways I over clocked my cpu another 100mhz and had to bump up voltage considerably for it to boot, and was a lot hotter, I did get a better result. No way the small increase in results can justify the overclock. Very useful tool.

loathe,

I don't think that was the original nature from the first post...

It was all about highest ratings and people were shuffled up and down the list according to their results.

Now that's a pissing contest. Geez, I wonder what the winner will get for a prize?

I fully stand behind my post and I'm not changing it whatsoever.

Fair enough. I stand by mine also
