I want to trash all data on a secondhand pc which has vista
I want to wipe the existing installation completely & install a clean Windows 7
Which version do I use
fqc-00129 or fqc-00133

To clean all data from a secondhand PC that currently has Windows Vista and install a clean version of Windows 7, you can follow these steps:
  1. Back Up Your Data (Optional):
    • It's important to back up any important files or data you want to keep before wiping the existing installation. You can copy your files to an external drive or cloud storage.
Prepare a Windows 7 Installation Media:
    • You will need a bootable USB drive or DVD with the Windows 7 installation files. You can create this using a Windows 7 installation ISO file.
    Wipe Existing Installation:
    • During the Windows 7 installation process, you will have the option to format the drive or partition where Vista is installed. This will wipe all data on that drive.
  2. Install Windows 7:
    • Insert the Windows 7 installation media into the PC and boot from it.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 7. Choose the option to install a clean copy of Windows (Custom Install). Regarding the versions you mentioned:
      • fqc-00129: This is the Windows 7 Home Premium version.
      • fqc-00133: This is the Windows 7 Professional version.
If you are looking for a basic version of Windows 7 for personal use, you can go with Windows 7 Home Premium. If you need additional features like support for joining a domain, you might prefer Windows 7 Professional. For your scenario of wiping the existing installation completely and installing a clean Windows 7, you can choose either version based on your specific needs.
