Foxit Reader is absolutely amazing. Far as I can see it puts Adobe to shame. Everything I have read about here and elsewhere finally got me to try it, and I sure am glad I did. If your having problems with Adobe Reader give Foxit a try I bet you will be happy you did.
 
One thing though, you can't use Foxit inside firefox to view a pdf page.
 
Sorry, my translator dont translates "ftw", I dont know what do you say...
But, for Opera users, the best option is PDF X-change viewer: Link Removed
