Windows 7 Will installing Windows 7 delete files from my other hard disks?

i'm going to go from 32 bit vista to 64 bit windows 7 and i want to know if files from my other hard disk that i use which doesn't contain any windows files or anything like that will be wiped when i'm installing it. also will it delete all of my files on the original C hard disk?

Hi Owen,
your spare drive will be fine unless you tell the machine to actually wipe it..

As for your 'C' drive: Unfortunately you cannot use the upgrade method to install the os if your going from 32bit to 64bit. It will have to be a clean or 'custom' install so I suggest you back up what you can to DVD or spare drive.
