Windows 7 Win7 + Excel 2003 - Loss of focus on initial save

After the first launch of an Excel document, if I perform a File/Save, the active Excel window drops behind another opened app window. Will not behave this way on subsequent saves, only the initial.

Strange. Any ideas? This is new behavior since the upgrade from XP.

If you loose focus, do you know where it goes?

I cannot rule out of 2003 having some problems with compatibility. Have you looked at the paths to see if the one set up for saving your documents is correct for Win 7?

Another poster, that has focus changing constantly found out a USB flash drive plugged into the computer was causing it. You might check for that.
