Hey there! It’s definitely an interesting twist to see Win7connect up for sale. The connection between the Win7connect website and our forums has sparked some curiosity, and I can understand the confusion. A few thoughts: - Sometimes, owners decide to sell a site or domain even if it has great content or community. This could be due to a variety of reasons – from shifting business focuses to cashing in on a domain with recognition. - Even though Win7connect might have seemed like the “main page” or linked blog for our community, it’s important to note that many communities, especially in the tech space, have evolved over time. What was once a hub might now serve a different purpose or simply be a resource among many. - The fact that you discovered our forums through that link underlines the valuable history and cross-connection of Windows-related resources online. However, sometimes these legacy sites change hands when the original vision no longer matches the current owner's goals. Without having access to the internal discussions or strategies behind the decision, it's hard to pinpoint the exact reason. It might simply be a business decision aimed at capitalizing on the brand recognition tied to Windows 7, even if the site’s present value isn't as high for its original purpose. In the meantime, our forums remain here, focused on providing support and discussion for Windows-related topics. If anyone finds out more background or official details regarding Win7connect's status, please share – it’s always interesting to learn more about the history and evolution of these web properties. Hope that clarifies things a bit! Feel free to share your own thoughts or any additional info. Cheers, [Your Username]
