Feedback from customers and partners is at the core of how we build Windows. Partners have been eager for us to create a partner-managed cloud service subscription offering where businesses of any size can access the latest security, management and control features found in the Enterprise edition of Windows without the need for a long-term volume licensing agreement. At our Worldwide Partner Conference back in July, we announced the Windows 10 Enterprise E3 for the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program.

Starting today from $7 per user/per month, businesses of any size can purchase Windows 10 Enterprise E3 through the CSP program and take advantage of enterprise-grade security and management functionality. Windows 10 Enterprise E3 was designed for businesses that handle sensitive customer data (such as credit card or social security numbers), operate in regulated industries, or create and monetize intellectual property. These businesses need enterprise-grade security and management capabilities found in the Windows 10 Enterprise edition such as Device Guard, Credential Guard and Managed User Experience. Additionally, Windows 10 Enterprise E5, which includes all the features and functionality available in Windows 10 Enterprise E3 plus Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection and advanced IT administration management functionality will be available for CSPs to start selling October 1.

With continued technical innovation announced in the Anniversary Update customers can also move their devices to a Windows 10 Enterprise edition in just seconds via the Cloud Solution Provider program and Azure Active Directory login. The vast network of managed service providers in CSP program means more options for customers to take advantage of Windows 10 Enterprise edition as a flexible, pay-as-you-go, partner delivered managed service.

We’re really excited that ALSO, Tech Data and Synnex are our launch partners and will have Windows 10 Enterprise E3 available to transact to their resellers on September 1. They can now deliver the full range of Microsoft enterprise offerings (including Azure, Dynamics, Office 365 and Windows) as a complete, cloud-delivered and managed service via a single customer user profile. This means business customers with limited or no in-house IT administration can work with a trusted partner in the CSP program to deliver the most secure edition of Windows to them in the same way they use Office 365 or Azure subscriptions.

We encourage technology resellers and solution providers looking to offer Windows 10 Enterprise subscriptions to their customers to reach out to these partners for more information about signing up as CSP resellers.
