I recently installed new hardware. After installing the new hardware I can't get pass the windows repair screen. I've tried restarting and even changing the boot drive by nothing is working
Old harware: i7 3700
As rock itx motherboard
16 GB DDR3 ram(not sure of speed)dual
channel
New Hardware: i7 9700k
Msi Meg Ace Z390
16 GB DDR4 2666 dual channel

Solution
You really need to do a clean install of windows.

Make sure the old board BIOS was not set to IDE mode and the new one is ACHI

The only other thing I can think of is to go into the BIOS and if set to IDE change to ACHI, if ACHI change to IDE.
