I recently purchased a new HP Pavilion Elite PC with the Windows 7 operating system, and ever since I began using it for the first time I was never able to connect it to the internet via my wireless router or through direct connection via ethernet cable. Right now I am only able to go online through my neighbor's WiFi and it's really aggrevating considering I pay monthly for this internet service.

I have tried many things and there is still no solution. I have resetted the modem as well as the router, same error. I have installed new drivers, same error. I have called my ISP, same error, they couldn't help me.

When I diagnosed the issue Windows 7 told me it was due to connectivity issues with my modem/wireless router, but I beg to differ, my modem and my router are working properly.
