Windows 7 is now crashing for me. Its happening after I installed Kapersky Technical beta. I installed it because Norton 360 was going to expire in 2 days. So now when I log in Windows 7 I can only stay for about 1 minute then it crashes showing a blue screen. I didn't read all of it, but I noticed it said "A thread (or threat) tried to open a resource it did not own".

Anyone else experience this problem when installing Kapersky?

Also I can't uninstall it because there isn't enough time. First attempt, haven't tried it again.

I have used Kapersky from the beginning of the beta testing with no problems.

Perhaps the Norton uninstall left something behind? It has been known to happen with their products.

Maybe, how can I check if it left anything there?

Also I did System Restore, so I'm okay now.

Reboot into safe mode and uninstall Kapersky, Then I would suggest installing AVG or avast!
