Windows 7 windows 7 media centre wont start mscowrks.dll

Hello i have just installed windows 7 , its fantastic but i have an issue opening media centre

Microsoft.net\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscowrks.dll could not be loaded

I also have a license key app for my vienna music software and this has the same error, please help i need my music software badly :O(

First make sure the file exists on your system.

go to Start > Run, and type Regedit. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\Policy\AppPatch and make sure this is the next entry > v2.0.50727.00000

The file should be located here:

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727
