    Hello,

I've got a HP G70 with Windows 7 RTM on it, as the OS going it's running very well. However, when waking the computer from hibernation the screen is black with a flashing cursor in the top left and will remain so for the duration.

If I press ctrl + alt + del the computer restarts and wakes from hibernation as if nothing was wrong!

This is very annoying, is anyone else having this issue?

    Thanks for your help!

I had that problem recently. Turns out that my ATI Catalyst 9.5 drivers was the thing to blame. I updated to 9.6 and subsequently 9.7 and have not experienced that problem since.
