Method 1: Disable Language Bar in Control Panel​

1. Click on the Start button.
2. Go to Control Panel.
3. Click on Clock, Language, and Region.
4. Click on Change keyboards or other input methods.
5. Click on the Language Bar tab.
6. Uncheck the option that says Show the Language bar.
7. Click Apply and then OK.

   Method 2: Disable Language Bar via Registry Editor​

8. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
9. Type in regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
10. Navigate to the following key:

     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\CTF\LangBar

11. Look for the ShowStatus entry on the right side.
12. Double-click on ShowStatus and change the value to 0.
13. Close the Registry Editor and restart the computer.

    Method 3: Using Group Policy Editor (for Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions)​

14. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
15. Type in gpedit.msc and press Enter to open the Group Policy Editor.
16. Navigate to:

17. Double-click on Restrict Language Bar to prevent the Language Bar from appearing on your desktop.
18. Select Enabled and click OK.
