This article comes as no surprise. It begins comparing Windows 7 with XP. Then swings to Microsoft advertised comparison with Vista. Certainly Windows 7 is going to be easier on batteries than Vista. Since Windows 7 is only an improved Vista, one should express no surprise that XP yields better battery life than Windows 7.
