Windows 8 is showing a black screen before logon and not the logon picture..........................................and it also takes a lot of time to load

Sorry about the delay in getting to your question.
Hi,
do you mean you don't have a picture on the log in screen? Try opening the charm icons (cursor top or bottom right of the screen), click on the cog (settings) followed by change pc settings. Make sure your on the tab of personalize and you should see, top right, options to change the picture.
As for taking a long time to load, this could be numerous things and we really need more information on your set up, how you installed (disk or download), upgrade or custom install.
