Windows 8 Metro version of Netflix confirmed - Neowin
It's one of the biggest Microsoft news stories of the year; the launch of their Surface tablet. We got some hands-on time with this upcoming device on Monday. However, we also wanted to let you know that during the press event that was held beforehand, Microsoft briefly showed off a Windows 8 Metro version of Netflix running on the Surface. This confirms that the very popular video streaming service should have a version ready when Windows 8 is released later this year.
The only other real detail about the app came from Windows head man Steven Sinofsky, who stated that the Netflix app would have support for the semantic zoom feature made for the Windows 8 Metro user interface.
