Windows 8 Windows 8 Pro Upgrade to 8.1

I just installed a licensed version of Windows 8 Pro and started playing with it. I understand there is a free upgrade to Window 8.1. On the URL Link Removed Microsoft says under the topic "I have Windows 8 Pro. Can I get Windows 8.1?":

"Yes, but if you use Windows 8 Pro or Enterprise at work, you may need someone from the IT department to install the upgrade on your computer. It will not be available as an update in the Windows Store."

I do not use Windows 8 at work. Does this mean that I automatically have the required priveledges for the Windows 8.1 upgrade ?

Yes.
Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro users can have free grade to Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 Pro respectively.
Win 8 to Win 8.1
Win 8 Pro to Win 8.1 Pro.
The upgrade is in Windows Store................
Go to Charm Bar > click Start > click Store.
