Windows 7 Windows does not recognise my DVD writer when I try to create a rescue disc

Windows f Home Premium does not recognise my DVD writer when I try to make a Rescue Disk using "Maintenence-Create a System Repair Disc".
The DVD writer is shown on the "Computer" window, and "properties" shows the disc writer to be working properly, and it will burn discs from Windows Media Player.
Anyone any ideas please??

The repair CD is a CD, just in case you might think it should be a DVD... Hopefully the earlier post fixed your problem.
