Windows 7 windows explorer stopped working when i open specific folder

hello

yesterday when i opened my folder a small screen appears saying windows explorer stopped working
another screen comes saying windows explorer is restarting
then it closes the folder

any help please , it is my personal folder i've also scanned it for any viruses it is totally clean


i am using windows 7 starter 32 bit

Hello, and welcome to the Windows 7 Forums
By "personal" folder, you mean the root folder in C:\Users, or the one you access from the start menu, correct?
Try copying it to another location to see if you're able to access the folder without explorer crashing.
