Windows 7 Windows Media Center Guide

In February the guide in WMC quit updating till forum posts brought it to Microsoft's attention and was then fixed.

Well, its happening again. For the last several days I am unable to download WMC guide updates. The local channels show content for 14 days but the cable channels show "No Data Available". When I try to manually update the guide I get and error message telling me that the guide can not be updated.

Can someone from Microsoft please fix this and see that it does not happen again?? Please!!

Microsoft killed off Windows Media Center almost 2 years ago now.
When Windows 10 was released July 21, 2015 WMC died.
You probably won't see any updates for it.
TV tuners haven't worked in it since then really either.
I know that to be a fact as my old pc had a tv tuner I installed in it. It worked fine, until Windows 10 was ready to hit the release to manufacturing stage.

You are correct about WMC in Windows 10 but wrong about all else. I have been using WMC in Windiws 7 for these last two years and Microsoft is maintaining the guide for several more years. look it up!

Like I said, This Feb the guide quit updating but Microsoft fixed it and it is working now, just not the cable stations. The local stations show listings for the next 14 days but no listings for cable stations.

Having a similar issue, although for me it looks like the majority of the SD channels have guide info but practically none of the HD channels do.
