Windows 7 Windows Media Center USB TV Tuner turning off

Hi,

I have a USB TV Tuner which works fine to watch TV in WMC. However, when a programme is set to record, and my laptop goes into sleep mode, I believe it turns off the USB TV Tuner, and therefore the programme doesn't record.

WMC support center says that the program is able to record when the computer is in sleep so I know it is not the program which is the issue.

Any ideas?

It might mean that the computer can be in sleep mode and awaken for the recording. Perhaps there is a setting to allow that device to wake up the computer in device manager?
