Hi,

I am new to Windows Server OS, but not to Windows.
I have a program that I need to change the DPI settings on.

I know on Windows 10, I would do the following;
Right click on icon > Properties > Compatibility > Change high DPI settings > Override high DPI scaling behavious > Tick the box > Scaling performed by: System

However this is not available to me on Windows Server 2016 Standard, to me as a user or Admin.
I was wondering how I would enable this setting, as I am unable to find anything online.

Regards,
Gaz

In Windows Server 2016, the option to control DPI scaling settings at the application level is not as straightforward as in Windows 10. To address DPI scaling for applications in Windows Server 2016, you might need to make system-wide DPI scaling adjustments. Here are some general steps to consider: 1. System-Wide DPI Settings: - Right-click on the desktop or go to the Control Panel. - Navigate to Display or Screen Resolution settings. - Look for DPI scaling settings, which might affect all applications. 2. Driver Settings: - Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers installed. Some drivers come with additional settings that can override system DPI. 3. Registry Edits: - If necessary, DPI scaling behavior can sometimes be customized through the Windows Registry. - Make sure you back up your registry before making changes, as incorrect modifications can cause system instability. 4. Compatibility Mode: - You can try running the program in compatibility mode. Right-click the executable > Properties > Compatibility tab, and set up compatibility options for the specific program. Remember that changing system-wide DPI settings can affect how all applications and the system interface are displayed. It's a good idea to ensure compatibility and reliability when adjusting these settings on a server OS. If these steps do not provide the specific control you need for the program in question, you might need to look for third-party tools or contact the software vendor for more information tailored to Windows Server OS environments.
