I have a domain with DNS pointed to Windows Server 2019, let's say somedomain.com. On this server IIS service is active and website is working online as somedomain.com. I need to add new mail accounts like [email protected]. I dig it for tutorials, and I see only instructions using 3rd party software like hMailServer, MailEnable or any external Panel for whole server management. I saw also videos for SMTP config in Windows Server with port redirection to 587, but I don't see options to make seperate accounts anyway and it doesn't work.

So I am wondering if there is possibility to create email accounts on clean Windows Server 2019 without any 3rd party software?

Windows server only supports basic SMTP features. It's not suitable for mailboxes. You'll either want exchange licensing or 0365
