windows server 2019CBStemp file is 40 gb

We received an alarm on one of our servers about the drive being 90% at capacity. Looking over it found that the CBSTemp file is 40 GB however the filed is empty.

Any suggestions?

I would start by running a tool like TreeSizeFree to help visualize the storage usage TreeSize Free | JAM Software
Run that and post your top contenders for space and we can help you sort what can be deleted.

Alternatively you can try running the built in 'disk cleanup' utility, click the 'Clean up system files' button and it may help resolve the issue. Pretty much anything in this app is safe to delete.
