I am using a computer as a storage area network, which means i have a shared hard drive mapped to 12 computers in the network, since i upgraded the operating system from server 2003 to windows 7 professional 64bit I'm having a problem that only the computers with windows 7 can access the computer, any other computers doesn't, from XP I get the following error:

An error occurred while reconnecting to \\computername\drive
OR
Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

even though i could ping from XP but there is no access.

I would appreciate your support.

thank you.

Have a look Link Removed - Invalid URL and see if adjusting the two registry keys as recommended helps your problem at all.
If not then perhaps adjusting LAN Manger authentication and or Client or Server session security might help.
Use secpol.msc on the Win7 machine and keep us posted. (See attachment)
