Hi there,
I have a HTPC with music I'd like to listen to from another pc. I've enabled Internet access with a Live ID and seems to be working. I see music and video's which are in the win7 libraries on the HTPC, but not my playlists. Is this somehow possible?
Thanks.

To access playlists from your HTPC on another PC, you might need to ensure that your playlists are also stored in a shared location. Here are some steps you can take to enable access to your playlists: 1. Check Playlist Location: - Verify where your playlists are stored on your HTPC. If the playlists are stored locally, they may not be accessible from other devices. 2. Move Playlists to Shared Location: - Move your playlists to a shared folder that can be accessed by both your HTPC and the other PC. Add Shared Folder to Windows Libraries: - Once the playlists are in a shared folder, you can add this folder to your Windows libraries on both the HTPC and the other PC. This will make the playlists accessible through the library. 4. Refresh Libraries: - After adding the shared folder to the libraries, you may need to refresh the libraries on both PCs to ensure that the playlists appear. 5. Check Network Sharing Settings: - Make sure that network sharing is enabled on both PCs and that they are on the same network. This will allow seamless access to the shared playlists. By following these steps, you should be able to access your playlists from another PC that is connected to the same network as your HTPC. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to provide more details for additional help.
