Greetings!

I've got an issue I'm baffled by - I can type words fine, but when I use the cursor to go back to previous words I've already typed, the words I've just typed in front of it are being deleted one-by-one automatically, all the way back to where the cursor is.

I've turned off Overtype and there's no differentiation when I push Insert twice.

I've ran Anti-Viruses which hasn't highlighted any viruses, although I can't see why a virus would be doing this, as I'm able to do everything else I normally would on my Computer.

Many Thanks,

Ash

Malware is the most likely culprit. I'm not aware of any "feature" that would do this. You could also try switching the keyboard and mouse in case of a hardware malfunction.
In what program?

In what program?

It doesn't seem to have an issue with Notepad, but when I type in my password to log in and click the cursor back halfway it'll delete the forward characters. Same for Internet Explorer and Microsoft Word.

Tried it again in Notepad and it's also affected by the issue.
