Windows 7 Working Applications

i'm glad it's awesome so many programs are still works.

does anyone have any idea to get my treo700wx synced. drivers won't load from wmdc.

These work as well:

ATI Catalyst Preview Driver
Real Alternative
Quicktime
WinRar
Adobe Reader
Adobe Flash Player
Spybot Search and Destroy
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition
MSN Live Messenger (Not sure if the Beta is working or not)

*I should point out that I picked up Crysis Warhead last night and installed it both on Windows Vista HP 64 Bit AND Windows 7 Build 6801 and it works flawlessly on Vista HP 64 Bit but crashes in random parts on Windows 7 Build 6801 (seems to happen most often during auto saves for some weird reason...*

Working Games:

Unreal Tournament 3
Counterstrike 1 and Source
Half Life 2
Half Life 2 Episode 1 & 2

Do you have a problem with Winrar not letting you add files to an existing archive? Whenever I try, I get an 'access denied' error. I have no problem dragging files over to an open existing archive on XP, but here I seem to.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot the vista-esque security settings >< such a pain

I do hope this is all right to post. Several individuals have posted that Nero 9 installs and works well.
I, unfortunately, have not upgraded my Nero; I'm still at 6.6 which, as you might expect, installs but does not run.
In your shoes, what would you recommend using for CD/DVD burning software? Should I go with Nero 9 or are there other alternatives?

Try running it or install it using vista or xp compatability mode

DVD Shrink is working now --- it would not work properly when I had IE8 beta installed on my Vista machine, so whatever the problem was it looks like they fixed it.

These programs work on my computer with W7....

Adobe Audition 3.01
Nod 32
Fitday 1.0
Microsoft Works Calander which came with my first computer with Windows '98.
Weather Bug
Google's Picasa 3
Safari
Firefox
IE 8
M-Audio Soundcard with Vista SP1 driver update.
Samsung DVD player works fine

One program I had trouble with was the Norton Anti Virus N360 Beta. It jammed up the connection with my modem and I couldn't get online. I had to uninstall it and do a system restore to get back online. I then installed NOD 32 and have had no problems going online since.

I have W7 on my older computer which is an AMD 2500XP with 1 gig memory.

AVG 8
MS VPC
Sony Vegas 8.0a
Roxio Creator Basic
Adobe CS2
GoverLan (If anyone uses this!)
OneNote 2007
Watchguard System Manager (10.2)

Additionally, it does not surprise me that all these apps work, as Win7 has a Vista "Core".
