Call of duty modern warfare 2 runs fine on win 7 home premium 64 bit. It should run no problem on 32 bit. Not sure about Gears of War, but it should run.

Don't forget to try compatibility mode if you have trouble..

Both games work on win7 (played on win7 ultimate 32bit), just make sure they're patched to the latest versions.
