I'm using ACER Aspire 4530. I change my OS to Windows 7 Home Premium after a month my DVD ROM is not working :(. I troubleshoot it but it doesn't work  . I also try to uninstall the driver and reboot my laptop but still it doesn't work .

My device status is: This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Solution
Doing a google search on "this device cannot start. (code 10)", points to a driver issue, whether it is a bad driver or corrupted driver. All the advice given is pointing users to go to PC/laptop manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for that device and OS that is being used. Here is the link, download the chipset driver, the latest released driver.
