Windows 7 How to enable MLAA on Radeon HD 5000 series?

I just researched what MLAA does and now I HAVE to enable it! I've never messed with my registry before but I need to do this THANKS!

You can edit it manually or you can run a reg tweak as shown below:

--> To enable Morphological Antialiasing for ATI 5000 series, use the reg tweak:

Save it as MLAA.reg, click to run and apply. Don't forget to reboot for the changes to take effect.

Well that didn't work, I'll try it manually. What do you guy's use for screen capture?

I use FRAPS and Photoshop.

I too use Fraps, and also Windows scissors, HyperSnap, and Winsnap.


For the Link Removed due to 404 Error, do as follows:

1. Check if your card is ATI 5000, it has to be to support MLAA
2. Control Panel -> Programs and components -> Uninstall ALL ATI software
3. Reboot into safe mode to clear ATI registry remnants with the Driver Sweeper from Guru3D:

4. Download and install Catalyst 10.12, clicking on the pop-up to confirm to "Install [this unsigned] driver anyway"
5. Reboot
6. Run Link Removed due to 404 Error and confirm to apply the registry changes:
