Windows 7 Microphone problem. cant fix it, please help =[

hello guys, i have a problem here with my mic its working fine in a xp os but here in windows 7 build 7231, the sound dont work, the speakers are fine but theres no sound from the mic, idk what to do i've already installed lots of drivers and stuff and nothing works :S

have you set the mic in the sound mixer as the default recording device & communication device???
