What is a good webcam for Video Chatting over Skype and messenger. I am using Windows 7, my built in webcam broke down. I have Asus G1S plus Nvidia 8600 GT 256 MB High Def and Windows 7. Would this webcma work for my laptop.

Yes it does work with Skype. I have a client who switched to Windows 7 Home Premium and use Skype regularly.

The two work together very well.

I use Philips SPC620NC. Great picture and have absolutly no problems. Works great with skype or windows live messenger.

I use the Logitech QuickCam S5500 (mid range/priced) with Vista using oovoo, skype and MSN Messenger. Then upgraded to 7 and still works flawlessly.

Im glad this webcam will work with my laptop Link Removed. you were talking about that one rihgt? I know Logitech Webcam 9000 won't work cause I checked my nvidia resolution. Logitech Webcam 9000-High-definition video (up to 1600 X 1200*) thats the webcams resolution
