Windows Vista DVD audio in Vista

I don't have any audio in DVD playback. CD audio and system sounds are fine but no DVD.It was suggested that it might be a problem with my K7 processor.Has anybody else heard this, and is there a work around?

wen playing a dvd open your sound mixer you will see that your sound main is working but your specific application isnt working?
