📎 AI Summary:
The thread involves the original poster experiencing a reduced capacity (from 4GB to 2GB) on their USB stick after formatting, seeking help to recover the full capacity. Highwayman suggests reformatting with default or smaller allocation sizes, but the original poster later reports that these solutions did not work despite trying multiple computers and ultimately gives up on the USB. The overall sentiment indicates a troubleshooting effort that was unsuccessful, leading to the decision to replace the USB device.

hi all about a week or so i formated my USB Stick which was a 4GB after Formating it
It ended up as a 2GB USB stick
Format got gone wrong lol

Is the anyway i can get it back?

Many Thanks

Solution
Try reformatting the stick again, and make sure the "allocation size" is default, or maybe try the smaller options if that was done before... you should get around 3.6gb usuable from a 4gig stick
