📎 AI Summary:
The thread discusses a user's challenge with identifying multiple bootable USB drives, which all appear as "Sandisk Cruzer" in BootManager, making them hard to distinguish. The user inquires about modifying the USB drives themselves to rename their entries so that the changes persist across different computers. A respondent suggests that limiting to one USB drive at a time might be a practical workaround, but no definitive solution is provided for renaming drives within the BootManager itself.

I have a couple of USB Flash Drives which contain different bootable systems.

When I plugin the USB falsh drives into the USB ports of my mainboard, boot my computer and let BootManager show up then they all appears as "Sandisk Cruzer"

So it is difficult to distinguish between them.

Is there a way to change the BootManager entries and rename them e.g. to "mytoolsusb1"
"backupusb2",....

This renaming should be done (if possible) with changes from USB flash drive (not from BootManager).
So that the changed name appear an other computers as well.

How can I achieve this?

I don't know if it is possible to do that but don't you think it would be better if you only connected one USB flash drive at a time?
