For those of us who use FF as a browser and wants to change that crappy new tab page. Here's how...

1: Type about:config in the address bar
2: click I'll be careful, I promise box
3: search for "browser.newtab.url"
4: right click and click modify
5: change to about:home
6: save and exit out.

Solution
If you're using Firefox as your browser and you'd like to customize the new tab page, here's a step-by-step guide to change it to about:home: 1. Type about:config in the address bar. 2. Click on the "I'll be careful, I promise" box to proceed. 3. Search for "browser.newtab.url". 4. Right-click on it and select Modify. 5. Change the value to about:home. 6. Save your changes and exit out of the settings. Following these steps should allow you to set the new tab page to about:home in Firefox.
