I have a number of MP4s which were taken with a cell phone. They have various rotation values. When I view them in various video players (VLC, Windows Media Player, even WinAmp, etc) they all actually play it in different orientations. Obviously they are all treating the rotation metadata differently.

I've tried tools like MediaInfo to view the metadata and ffmpeg to remove and change it.

What can I do to rotate it to the right way up and then remove the Rotation metadata so that every player plays it the right way up?
